Will of Alexander Edgar late of Legannany, County Down, Farmer, who died 8th May1869, at Slievenaboley in said County was proved at Belfast by John Harte of Slievenaboley, Farmer, one of the executors. Daughter Sarah Edgar, son William Edgar, brother James Edgar.

 

Letters of Administration of the personal estate of Ann Edgar late of Purdysburn, County Down, Widow deceased who died 24th July 1868, at same place were granted at Belfast to James Murray of Purdysburn (Belfast) aforesaid Farmer a Nephew and one of the next of kin of said deceased. Nephew-James Murray

Will of David Edgar late of 41 Keegan Street, Belfast.  Labourer who died 19th April 1888, at the Royal Hospital Belfast, was proved at Belfast by Francis Vance of 51 Grafton Street Dublin Insurance Agent the sole executor.

 

Will of the Reverend David Edgar late of Ballymaglove, Ballynahinch, County Down, Presbyterian Minister who died 8th December 1889, at same place was proved at Belfast by Robert Smyth Edgar of Dromore in said County Draper the surviving Executor. Son John Edgar, wife Nancy, son Robert Smyth Edgar, daughter Elizabeth (Nancy Edgar, widow of deceased, and Robert Smyth executors).

 

Probate of the Will of Ellenor White Corry Edgar late of Carricknaveagh, County Down, Widow who died 2nd October 1896, granted at Belfast to Joseph J. Mother Jane Edgar sisterter Anne Edgar sisterter Margaret Edgar sisterter Ellen Bennett (Orr Bennett’s wife) cousin John Edgar, Lisbane.

 

Will with one codicil of Henry Edgar late of Tamnaderry, County Antrim, Farmer, deceased who died 25th February 1880, at same place was proved at Belfast by the oaths of Robert Wilson of Ballynamullan and David Scott of Gariffgeery, both in said County Farmers the executors. Son John Edgar, wife Elizabeth Edgar, son Henry Edgar, daughter Anne and her husband Samuel Richardson, daughter Elizabeth and her husband John Watts? Daughter Lucinda and her husband Samuel Haire.

 

Will of the Reverend Hugh Edgar of Aughvilly, County Armagh, Clerk who died 22nd April 1894, at same place was proved at Armagh by Thompson Brotherwne of Killynure J.P. and Charles Knipe of Maghery Farmer both in said County the Executors. Sister Jane.

 

Will of Hugh Edgar late of Tullynewbane (Glenavy), County Antrim, Farmer deceased who died 28th October 1872, at same place was proved at Belfast by the oath of Cumberland Edgar of Tullynewbane (Glenavy), aforesaid Widow the executrix. Wife Cumberland Edgar, nephew John Edgar of Manchester, Merchant, son of my late brother Isaac Edgar, nephew John Edgar of Banbridge, son of my brother the Rev. David Edgar, and nephew Joseph Brotherwn of Belfast, assistant in York Street spinning mill, son of the Rev. John S. Brotherwn of Magheragall. Daughter Lizzie Edgar.

 

Probate of the Will of James Edgar late of Derryhollagh, Randalstown, County Antrim, Farmer who died 16th July1895, granted at Belfast to James Derby of Magherafelt, County Londonderry, Farmer and John Edgar of Derryhollagh, Farmer. Nephew John Edgar niece Mary Ann Edgar.

 

Will of James Edgar late of Upper Benagh County Down Farmer who died 5th May 1894, at same place was proved at Belfast by William Cunningham of Ballygowan, Grocer, Andrew Orr of Kilkeel Grocer and George Henderson of Cranfield, Farmer, all in said County the executors. Nephew James Reilly sister Sarah Jane Gordon, Susannah Henderson, wife of George Henderson, nephew William Reilly.

 

Will of James Gibson Edgar late of Lonsdale Street, Belfast in the County of Antrim Bank Clerk deceased who die 21st June 1865 at Belfast aforesaid was proved at Belfast by the oaths of Robert Steen of the Royal Academical Institution, Belfast P.H.D. and David Carmichael of Millisle, Donaghadee, in the County of Down, Mill Owner the executors (deceased died domiciled in Ireland).

Will of Jane Edgar late of 65 John Street, Belfast, County Antrim, Widow deceased who died 16th September 1870, at Belfast, aforesaid was proved at Belfast by the oaths of James M’Garry of Glenavy, Farmer, William Henry Kennedy of English Street, Belfast, Dairyman and Francis McIlvenny of 88 Falls road Belfast, Grocer (all in said County) the executors. 4 children – unnamed.

(Names unknown) and 2 younger boys and 3 girls.

Will of John Edgar late of Frederick Street Newtownards, County Down Labourer deceased who died 14th November 1882, at same place was proved at Belfast by Nathaniel J. Ledgerwood Bookkeeper and Alexander Dickson of William Street Miller both of Newtownards the executors. Wife Agnes Edgar granddaughter Sarah Edgar – daughter of my son John Edgar, of Springfield, Massachusetts, USA.

 

Will of John Edgar late of Aughadulla County Tyrone Farmer who died 27th April 1895 was proved at Londonderry by Jane Edgar of Aughadulla Spinster the sole executor daughter Jane Edgar.
